Pfaffia paniculata
Uses: Medicinal
Known as para toda in Latin America for its general utility against all forms of illness and malaise, suma is especially valued as a rejuvenator, aphrodisiac and performance enhancer. Suma is a relatively recent entry into herbal medicines, and little or no traditional references have been found regarding its use. However, it has been used against chronic fatigue syndrome, and is being researched for its effectiveness in inhibiting the growth of cancerous tumours, where it is showing some early promise.
