Cholesterol in Stevia?

Stevia can be used as a sugar substitute, as I understand. I’m trying to find if there is cholesterol within the leaves. Thank you for your time, any information that is available I would like. If you are aware of another avenue I can research I would like that also.

Stevia does not contain cholesterol. In fact, no plant-derived products contain cholesterol.

For further reading on stevia, have a look at "The Stevia Cookbook" which is available from Richters.
