I have a large Herbery (10 raised beds, half of which are 4 x 8 feet, and the rest 4 x 4 feet). This past summer (my first), I used your marvelous book "Prizewinning Preserves" to inspire me to create a few concoctions of my own. This season, I’d like to package a few for sale as a fundraiser, and would like to find some jars with smooth sides, so I can put my own label on the jar... label is about 2 x 4 inches. The problem with the Bernardin ones I have bought at hardware stores is that the sides have a sculptured design and I can’t put my labels on them. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

P.S. I live in the Niagara peninsula, in Beamsville, on the Beamsville Bench.

Jars with straight sides (250 mL) are available from Consolidated Bottle in Toronto (416) 656-7777. The address is in Appendix B in the back of Prizewinning Preserves. Glad you are enjoying the book!
