Are there any herbs for the healing of pulled or strained muscles?

Horsetail helps calcium absorption and improves the quality of connective tissues. Comfrey leaf may be taken internally as a tea or tincture, or the oil or tincture added to a cream and rubbed into the affected area.

Improving the blood flow to the area affected will speed healing. Yarrow and Linden flowers (Tilia cordata or europa) may be taken to improve circulation. It can be taken internally as a tincture.

Turmeric improves the absorption of cortisone produced by the adrenal glands, helping to reduce inflammation and allow healing. It can be taken in meals (such as curries) or mix a teaspoon in a glass of milk.
