We have answered questions similar to yours previously. Please go to our website at http://www.richters.com, and then go to the "Q&A" area and search for the items: "Herbs for Hair Loss" and "Herbs for Healthy Hair".

Most of the herbs mentioned in these answers are available at Richters as seeds, live plants and in dried form.

To use the dried plants, for example, make a tea for drinking three times a day, by combining a teaspoon of a mixture of Nettles (Urtica dioica) Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) and Horsetail (Equisetum arvense), steeped in a cup of boiling water for 15 minutes, then strained. A stronger tea, made by reducing the water by half and steeping for 30 minutes, can be used as a hair rinse each time you wash your hair. These herbs stimulate circulation and provide nutrients for encouraging hair growth. Horsetail should not be used internally for longer than six weeks.
