I was told by my son’s preschool teacher (he’ll be 5 on April 1st) that he may have Attention Deficit Disorder. She said that her granddaughter was diagnosed and used a natural herb called Grape extract. I looked at Mark’s herb list and found a grape seed extract. Do you know if this has any calming effects on young systems? I am not looking for a medical diagnosis here, just want to know if this herb could be of any use.

Grape seed extract is used as an antioxidant and is said to increase levels of vitamin C in the body’s cells and strengthen the capillaries. Because Attention Deficit Disorder is often related to toxins in food additives and to food allergies, grape seed extract could help by assisting elimination of toxins and generally improving the immune system to deal with the effects of allergies.
