Ginkgo and St. John’s Wort Interaction?

I have a problem with tinnitus and I also have panic and anxiety attacks. I’m fully aware they feed each other – I’ve been taking Gingko Biloba for the ears and have noticed some change towards the positive. My question: is it possible to take St Johns Wort as well? Would there be a potential interaction?

Ginkgo enhances circulation to the head, helping to relieve tinnitus when insufficient circulation is a factor. St. John’s wort nourishes and calms the nerves. It is unlikely that there will be a negative interaction. It’s a good idea to keep a diary of your symptoms to help you determine effectiveness.
