A girl at work just told me that she heard of a fruit that’s an herb. She could not remember the fruit. Do you know?

I dare say virtually most fruits are herbs because most have medicinal properties even if they are not always used for medicinal purposes. Some fruits that are used as medicine are bilberry (a type of blueberry), prunes, orange peel, apricot pits, elderberry, and lemon peel.

For more information see Deni Bown’s "Encyclopedia of Herbs and Their Uses" (available from Richters).
