Medicinal Properties of Dalbergia lactea Answered by: Conrad Richter Question from: Nora Posted on: December 16, 2003
I will like you to please help me to find solution to some questions. They are:
(a) information on Dalbergia lactea;
(b) its medicinal use;
(c) its active components and phytochemical constituents.
We are not familiar with Dalbergia lactea. Our sources indicate that it is a woody climber found in the forests of eastern and southern Africa. In Kenya, the sap is collected and used to treat hepatitis. I did not find any information in the USDA or Medline databases I checked.
