I have heard that hibiscus flower tea is good for high blood pressure. Can you confirm this? Any information would help and be appreciated.

Some small research studies have shown that the flowers of Hibiscus sabdariffa reduce blood pressure. I can’t confirm this effect. It is known to be a relaxing herb, and has no negative side effects. It can be a tasty addition to teas made with other herbs used for high blood pressure. For information on herbs used for high blood pressure, please see our website at www.richters.com. Choose "Q&A" from the main menu, then enter "blood pressure" for the search.
