I just discovered this site. I was wondering how I can order Boswellia. I have had tendinitis in my right hand/wrist for over 4 months. I have tried over the counter inflammation aids, heat, ice and physio therapy. I wear a brace daily. I have tried numerous ointments including tiger balm. I read that boswellia helps with inflammation and pain, but I can’t locate it at my local health store. Or is there something way better?

Boswellia gum or bark (Boswellia serrata) is an anti-inflammatory herb commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine. It should be available at health food stores. Prominent herbalist Michael Tierra includes boswellia in formulas for pain and inflammation. For information on these products, please see his website at http://www.planetherbs.com/estore/display.php?RecordID=1129592294. A good herbal formula, such as this is usually more effective than a single herb.
