Are there any herbal medicines to treat brain tumors?

Natural therapy cancer treatments are holistic in nature, including diet, exercise, support groups and spiritual exercises such as meditation. The diet should include only fresh, whole, organic foods and juices to avoid putting toxins into the body.

I recommend that you refer to a good cancer resource, like Donald Yance’s book "Herbal Medicine, Healing & Cancer" (available at Richters). Yance describes the basic needs of an organic food diet avoiding sugars, processed foods and hydrogenated fats that feed the cancer cells, and including lots of fresh vegetables and healthy fats like fish oils and flaxseed oil. Medicinal mushrooms, such as maitake, reishi, shiitake are included in cancer protocols to stimulate the immune system. Yance gives details on many herbs and supplements that are useful in cancer treatment, including those that are helpful with chemotherapy and radiation.
