Skin Tags

I keep having these skin tags come up in different places on my body. My neck is the main place, but also underarms, where my bra line is and a few on my stomach. Is there anything that I can take or put on these to get rid of them. They are not attractive at all. Several years ago I went to a dermatologist who burned several of them off. But they keep returning.

The cause of skin tags (small, non-cancerous skin growths protruding from the body) is unknown, but their growth may be related to increasing age, obesity, insulin resistance (diabetic or pre-diabetic), human papilloma virus (as are warts)or irritation from skin folds rubbing together. I suggest that you consult with a qualified medical or clinical herbalist to help you discover possible factors in your case.

Our website www.richters.com gives information on dietary treatment for insulin resistance. Choose "Q&A" from the main menu, then enter "syndrome X" for the search. Insulin resistance was formerly called "syndrome X". For information on prevention of warts, enter "warts" in the Richters Q&A search.

There are many natural products on the market for removal of skin warts. See www.google.com , and enter ""skin tags" herbs" for the search.
