Numbness in the finger and left leg. What herbs can be taken for circulation?

Numbness can be a sign of poor circulation but it can also be caused from sensory loss. It is important that the underlying cause be determined before attempting to treat this. Sensory loss can be determined very quickly by visiting a herbal care provider for a simple sensory test using a tuning fork. Sensory loss can be simply caused from a pitched/pressure on a nerve or a more seriously nerve degeneration from various causes, none or which should be ignored.

For numbness from poor blood circulation, it is important to determine the cause of the poor circulation. Reduced heart function, lack of exercise, and blood vessel integrity issues are among some of the causes of poor circulation. Peripheral stimulants such as cayenne, ginger root and cinnamon can be used both internally as well as externally. Foot baths, massage oils, compress can be made using the herbs.
