Is there any finding on a herb that cures tuberculosis or that can manage it?

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious notifiable disease caused by the bacillus tuberculosis that usually affects the lungs but can also affect other organs in the body. It is a life threatening disease and one needs to consult a medical doctor for treatment. However, herbs can have a supportive role with TB. Treatment varies according to the organ affected. Generally, immune stimulants such as echinacea and wild indigo are used along with lung supports such as elecampane, hyssop, and thyme. Antibacterial and antimicrobial herbs such as garlic, wild leeks, usnea, myrrh, and goldenseal are recommended. Plenty of vitamins A, C and D along with zinc are necessary for good immune support.
