I’m looking for some herbal relief from my gas problems. It seems like any thing I eat gives me gas. I’ve read abount Fennel, Aniseed and Peppermint helping. I would like to hear your thoughts on these herb and how they could be used to help me. Also, I am 47 years old live in the country(having lots of chores) and seem to be tired all the time. I get a fair amount of exercise, but, I seem to need alot of sleep.

Yes, fennel, aniseed and peppermint have a long history of use for helping with digestion thus reducing gas production. They can be drank as an after dinner cup of tea or made into a tincture (see http://www.richters.com/show.cgi?page=./QandA/Medicinal/19981116-1.html

Bitter herbs such as dandelion and gentian are also effective for stimulating good digestion thus improving the digestion and breakdown of foods that can cause the gas in the first place as well. These would be taken by the dropper full as a tincture as well.

As for your fatigue, there are may causes of fatigue: poor nutrition, poor digestion, burnout, low thyroid, sleep disturbances, emotional health issues, spiritual health issues, other underlying health problems, etc. It is best that you find the underlying cause so that your fatigue can be properly addressed.
