About 5 years ago I wrote to one of your experts about my daughters Eczema problem. The expert suggested me that I should eliminate dairy and other stuff from my baby’s diet. I eliminated lots of food items from my child’s diet and that worked very well. She started to get better now, she is five and a half year old and goes to kindergarten in a public school. I went to her school today to volunteer. I noticed that she does not pay attention like other kids were doing. She fine at home, she pays attention when any of the family members talk to her but at school she was not responding to the teacher and looked to me a little isolated. Last week we took her to the pediatrician and he said that my child is just doing fine. My daughter is still allergic to egg white, msg and nuts. I know nuts are very good for brain. but she cannot consume them. Will you tell me what could be the alternative of nuts and what herb will be suitable for her and what about dose of the herbs should she take?

It sounds like your daughter is needing nervous system nourishment. It could be that she has an essential fatty acid deficiency and a B vitamin deficiency as these are two of the most important nutrients for the brain and nervous system. Flax seed oil is excellent and affordable. Nutritional flaked yeast is a good source of B vitamins. Herbs to help support her nervous system would a combination tea made from lemon balm, oat straw, nettles, and skullcap. She could drink this tea, 1/2 to 1 cup three times per day,
