I was in a car accident six years ago, since then I have had eight surgeries with several more in the future. I currently see a pain management doctor who prescribes me oxcycodone which in turn makes me sick feeling and gives me headaches, I’m wondering if there is a herb out there that I can take instead of the oxcycodone, I’m afraid if I continue taking the oxcycodone that I will destroy my liver, kidneys, or something else I will need to hang on to. Please help if you can this has me very concerned.

It depends on what type of pain you are experiencing. For example yellow jasmine, dogwood, St.John’s wort and prickly ash are good nerve pain remedies, Devil’s Club, black cohosh and California poppy are good muscular skeletal pain remedies.
