| | | Cows and Glutathione Answered by: Kerry Hackett Question from: Lino Tioli Posted on: September 15, 2006
I’m an italian veterinarian working in dairy cows area and some times I find I have to solve several different liver problems. I have used in the past a human yeast source of glutathione with great satisfaction. The problem was the cost and its availablity. Could you suggest me something different and effective for liver disorders (same glutathione providers) or others (Spirulina)? with acceptable cost? And, if something exists, where can I find this product?
Herbs used to treat liver disorders depend on the specific condition involved. Therefore without further information I am not able to answer your question, sorry. As far as a substitute glutathione product is concerned, unfortunately even after an extensive search, I still could not find an answer for you. I am assuming you are already taking into consideration the use of selenium and vitamin E, the former as an integral component of glutathione peroxidase?
