I recently obtained some lettuce leaf basil for the garden. How is this used in comparison to other basil? Is there any difference? What dishes would this be good in?

Lettuce leaf basil may be used in the same way that regular basil is used. It has the largest leaves of any basil and is very flavourful Excellent for making pesto. Also use in Italian dishes. For more information on using basil as well as other herbs, please visit: www.yvonnetremblay.com and click on "Thyme in the Kitchen" cookbook. I have recipe for pesto in my book as well as many recipes for using pesto, such as Pesto Pasta, Pesto Shrimp.
