I ordered few days ago the/ Bacopa monnieri /medicine plant it’s very important for me to have precise information how to grow them indoor avoiding any future problems. I tried to search the internet but I am not sure of those sites. I know the plant needs humidity and watering very often.

The unfortunate mass of misinformation on the internet is caused by there being two very similar looking plants, commonly called Bacopa, but belonging to entirely different genera and one being used in hanging baskets(Sutera) and the other as a medicinal plant. The other problem is that /Bacopa monniera /has an awful lot of synonyms and those names confuse the issue too. The third source of confusion is that the Indian common name of Brahmi is also used for /Centalla asiatica /(synonym /Hydrocotyl asiatica/) which we sell as Gotu Kola, another herb that helps brain function.

At least Gotu Kola and Bacopa grow under similar conditions. They want lots of water, so water once a day. We grow them in bright light, Bacopa under more light than Centalla. We have them both in our Pro-Mix based medium and they do fine.
