Bonjour! We do use successfully the herb "Coptis groenlandica" or "savoyane" as we call it in french, for different types of infections, mostly for throat sores and catarrh conditions. I am wondering what side effects this plant can provoke as there is very little information is available on it. We always use it for short periods of time: max. 3 days in a row, as we think it is similar to "Hydrastis canadensis" – a very potent root.

I haven’t been able to find any side effect for on this one - only its Native American uses.
