I’m getting ready to place an order with your company, and I have a question I need to ask before I order a particular tree. On the Ginko Biloba Trees, do both the male and female trees have medicinal value in their leaves, or is only the male or only the female producing healing benefits.

Both male and female trees produce the medicinally active subtance in their yellowing leaves. The nuts however are only produced by the female trees- if a male is nearby. The nuts are important in chinese medicine as well as being delicious when cooked. The fruit encasing the nut has a vile smell- and must be removed - with gloves! before the nut can be used.
