I am looking to find out if there are ANY herbs to help with narcolepsy?

Narcolepsy is an overwhelming desire to sleep during the day. It is a nervous system disorder that may be related to food sensitivities, or otherwise related to the immune system.

"Alternate Medicine, The Definitive Guide", compiled by the Burton Goldberg Group and published by Future Medicine Publishing Inc., states a case in which a man was completely cured of narcolepsy by omitting potatoes from his diet. To discover this particular food sensitivity, he was put on a single food diet (eating only one food at each meal). His narcolepsy disappeared until he ate a meal of potatoes.

Building the immune system helps to alleviate allergies and food sensitivities. Foods that help build both the nervous system tissue and immune functionality are the essential fatty acids from oily fish (salmon, herrings, sardines, mackerel) and from nuts and seeds. The immune system is supported by a diet that is high in fresh fruit and vegetables and that avoids sugar, refined flour products, fatty meat and dairy products, food additives, drugs and alcohol.

Ginkgo biloba helps bring the blood nourishment to the brain tissue include and is helpful in allergies. Herbs that improve energy are Gotu Kola and Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus).
