Evening Primrose Has Urine of Pregnant Mare?

I’d like to know if the evening primrose has the urine of a pregnant mare in it’s ingredients. Several people claim that this is one of the ingredients. Is this true or false?

Evening primrose is a herb, so if the product you are taking is made from the seeds of evening primrose only then it won’t have any other ingredients.

I can’t speak for whatever product you might be taking or thinking of taking. Many herbal products contain more than one ingredient and you need to check the label of the product.

If the suggestion is that evening primrose products are adulterated with unlabelled ingredients such as mare’s urine, then such products would be illegal because most countries require that all ingredients be listed on the label. But I have not heard of any problems of adulteration with pregnant mare’s urine in evening primrose products, so I don’t know where your acquaintances got that idea.

To be safe it is always wise to stick with well known, reputable companies. Efamol is the first and most reputable company to sell evening primrose products.
