What are the risks in breastfeeding while taking Orthosiphon aristatus (Java tea)? Both for myself and my baby?

I do not know of risks in taking Java tea when breastfeeding. Often herbs are advised against during pregnancy and breastfeeding when safety information is not available. The only side effect information that I have seen on Java tea is allergic reactions like skin rashes and bronchial constriction. If you are eating a healthy diet, it’s a good idea not to introduce new foods or herbs that may cause problems. The food that you eat goes through the breast milk to nourish your baby. A new or herb or food could cause an allergic or digestive reaction in your baby.
