The doctor put me on Plavex, a blood thinner, for 6 months after placing a stent in an artery and performing an angioplasty. What herbs are also blood thinners that I should not take during this time?

Common herbs that may cause blood thinning include Ginkgo biloba, garlic, ginseng, linden flowers (Tilia cordata), sweet clover (Melilotus officinalis), Rue (Ruta graveolens) and Prickly ash (Zanthoxylum calvaherculis).
