I am going to assume you are referring to the mullein leaf here. Mullein leaf is a herb that has a long history of use for various lung ailments as it is a relaxing, soothing herb with slight antispasmodic effects on the respiratory system. It is used for such conditions as coughs, asthma, emphysema and bronchitis. One can commonly find it used in various cough and cold remedies including cough syrups. Mullein has also been used for the urinary system as a mild diuretic, for bed wetting, and other bladder irritations.
