I have been diagnosed with having terminal lung cancer with liver metastes. I have recently completed my radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

I have read the book "Health Through God’s Pharmacy." It recommends the following herbs to combat the lung cancer:

Calamus Root for chewing on a daily basis.

Yarrow for making tea and drinking 2 times a day.

Calendula tea for a prolonged basis.

Do you concur that these herbs help combat the lung cancer? Can you tell me how you make the Calendula tea and the Yarrow tea? Can you recommend anything else to help combat the lung cancer?

The ways herbs work in terms of cancer treatment is to support the body so that the body can combat the cancer. The main ways to support the body is through facilitating good eliminatory routes, facilitating good immune function, and to facilitate good digestion and absorption. Calamus root, yarrow and calendula are herbs that help to support the body as described.

To make yarrow or calendula tea, you take 1 heaping teaspoon of dried herb and place in a cup; add 1 cup of boiling water and allow to steep 10 to 15 mins. Generally, this is drunk 3 to 5 times per day.
