Anal Rash, Fungal

My husband has a rash (raised red, itchy) inside his buttocks which he cannot cure with regular over the counter meds. I bought an on-line cure and lost the recipe. The ingredients were kelp tablets (100mg), thuja cream and garlic (1000 mg). I think the rash is a form of ringworm or some other fungus. Do you think these products could work? I’m not sure if there were other ingredients or not. (never heard of thuja).

Thuja is part of the latin name (Thuja occidentalis) for eastern cedar. It has strong anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. Garlic has similar properties. Kelp is also believed to have some anti-fungal properties which is probably mostly due to the high salt content. As such, if the rash is fungal in nature then such a combination should help. Having said that, it is necessary that your husband address the underlying cause and it is likely that he has a digestive dysbiosis (imbalance in his gut flora) as fungal rashes are opportunistic. Alter the environment and the rash can no longer survive is the key to eliminating it.
