What exactly does safflower oil do for stomach fat?

Safflower oil is high is a good kind of fat called conjugated linoleic acid. This fat helps to reduced fat mass, however, the reasons for this are not clear as research has shown inconsistent results. Furthermore, the results have also shown that this effect is so small and as a result is not an answer to reduce excess belly fat, rather it may just be part of a holistic weight management and weight reducing plan.

Furthermore, this fat when use on its own is not without hazards. Research has shown that it can increase one’s risk of developing diabetes and gallstones as well as putting an increasing stress load on the body. Eating food high in this type of fat, such as safflower oil, is not only safer but it also offers a source of other fat soluble essential nutrients such as Vitamin E and K and phytosterols.
