I would like to know if Zorba Red Oregano (Origanum vulgare) has the same medical properties as Greek Oregano >(Origanum vulgare hirtum)?

I understand that Origanum vulgare can be extracted by using olive oil (infused oil) then used for joint pain. I have an Origanum plant, but not sure what kind. I want to make sure that the Origanum that I use is for joint pain.

Considering that this plant is very fragrant and it is a" vulgare" species I would say that it is very similar to the Greek oregano thus similar medicinally. Most oregano’s contain the similar volatile oils.
